Hyaluron needle-free injection has become the most trendy cosmetic treatment since 2017! It is a new technology that allows a jet injector that uses high pressure to force hyaluronic acid through a person’s skin. The result is less discomfort and smoother results than with a traditional needle injection. Those who have an issue with needles of any kind, have no fear!
How does this work?
We use a special hyaluronic pen device that deposits hyaluronic acid filler into the epidermal and upper dermal layers of the skin. The acid is injected as nanoscale molecules through the skin layers with the pressure technology from the pen. From there the acid molecules spread throughout the injection site evenly, quickly coagulating and "filling" in the desired area. The diameter of the pressurized flow is 0,17mm, which is twice as small as a traditional needle.
What are the differences between Hyaluron needle-free injection and regular filler injection?
The differences between Hyaluron needle-free injection and typical needle injection of hyaluronic acid filler include the injection depth and the even spread of the filler itsel. Because the Hyaluron Pen injects the acid as a nanomolecular mist, it is able to spread evenly and coagulate. Traditional filler can pool up underneath the skin and appear "bumpy". The Hyaluron needle-free injection lasts longer as well due to the diameter that the acid is able to be distributed.
Where can it be safely injected?
HA Pen needle-free injection can be used to create volume, shape and lift. Treatment areas include: Lips, forehead wrinkles, nasolabial lines, marionette lines, and 11 lines.
What is the best use for Hyaluron Pen treatment?
Treatment is perfect for lip augmentations and reducing wrinkles. The Hyaluronic Acid only reaches the papillary layer of the dermis making this a safe treatment with no risk of occlusion as well as no sharp tips to puncture blood vessels.
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
HA is a natural sugar found in the human body and is considered to be the most hydrating substance in the world. It’s primary function is to attract water and keep the skin hydrated, plump and youthful. Because the human body creates this acid naturally, it is impossible to be allergic to it. As we age, our body decreases the amount of HA produced as well as collagen fibers. This decrease causes our body to look older, resulting in loss of hydration and elasticity. Over time, wrinkles begin to form and the skin begins to sag. By adding HA into the skin, we revive the collagen and promote a fresher, plumper look. Hyaluronic acid is also the main structural element of connective tissue.
How long do results last?
Results last 3-6 months depending on how quickly your body metabolizes the HA Infusion.
Is this like Botox?
No, Botox is not a filler nor is it ever injected into the lips. Botox is used to temporarily cut off nerve signals to muscles, limiting the movement of said muscle and smoothing out the wrinkles. The HA Pen delivers a low viscosity filler into the lips for volume, or into the facial skin for wrinkle reduction.
What’s the difference between the Hyaluron Pen and other fillers?
First and foremost, other fillers are injected into the subcutaneous tissue of the skin using a needle. That is not the case with the HA Pen. The device launches the fillers into the skin through pressure and then the HA spreads to the epidermis and dermis.
Is there a risk of occlusion?
The HA pen inserts the Hyaluronic Acid compound into the upper dermal layers of the skin. The risk of going too deep, or the likelihood of puncturing a blood vessel is virtually impossible as no sharp needle tip is used. As you know, there are risks with anything, which is why proper certification is so important. Here at Permanent Makeup & Cryo In Maine, we are properly certified and licensed to do this procedure. ***This method should not be bought and used at home,
Can I get this treatment if I already have a lip filler?
Yes you can! We just recommend that you wait 30 days if you've recently had it done.
Pro Tip Before Procedure:
Price is based on 1ML dosage of Hyaluronic Acid (we will always start lips with only 1ML of product, we feel that it’s better to build things up gradually). Results will vary from person to person and typically last anywhere from 2 to 6 months. As with any filler treatment or injectable, there may be some bruising for a few days. It can be covered with makeup. It's recommended if this is your first filler to schedule two sessions a week apart to build up volume.
Price is based on .5ml dosage used to give lips a little extra fullness or perfect for a touch up while building volume and layering.
