WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS?

Lash extensions are semi-permanent, synthetic, faux mink or silk fibers that are applied strand by strand with specially formulated non-irritating glue to your own lashes to enhance your eye shape.

WHY IS OUR SYSTEM BETTER THAN OTHER PLACES IN MAINE?

✅ The eyelash glue is 100% cured immediately and our clients are allowed to let water touch their eyelashes directly. There is no more “48h no water rule” anymore. With normal eyelash glue, misbehavior on the part of the client can have a strong negative impact on the durability. With our UV LIGHT technology, you no longer have to worry about this.

✅ The retention is EXTREMELY improved. The eyelashes last until the natural eyelash falls out. NO normal eyelash glue achieves such durability.

✅ Our clients allergy risk is reduced by 80% because because the glue is directly cured, it no longer emits fumes. Normal eyelash adhesives take about 48 hours to cure completely and continue to emit fumes during this period.

WILL LASH EXTENSIONS RUIN MY LASHES?

No Lash extensions alone will not ruin your lashes. Damage to the natural lashes is the result of improper application, or the tech not selecting the correct type of lash for an existing natural lash.

ARE LASH EXTENSIONS WORTH IT?

Lash extensions are definitely worth the money, but they’re not for everyone. It really comes down to your budget, time allotment, and compliance with the guidelines, as these aren’t easy to maintain, not to mention, this is considered a luxury service and should be thought of as such.

CAN I GET LASH EXTENSIONS THE SAME DAY AS MY EYELINER PMU SESSION?

We recommend if you’d like to get this done, to do it after your Eyeliner is completely healed. After care instructions will be provided also before you leave our spa.

CAN I USE AN EYELASH CURLER?

No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a much better result than using a curler, But more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

The treatment of pregnant or breastfeeding persons may only be carried out after prior consultation with a doctor. In case of doubt, treatment should be avoided.

This service should not be done if the treated person has any of the following symptoms in the area of the eye where the light from the system may shine: abrasions, keloid – or unhealed scars, herpes, psoriasis, other infectious or inflammatory skin diseases, fungal infections, wounds, sunburn, neurodermatitis, skin cancer.

This service should not be done if the user or the person being treated has the following symptoms:

Epilepsy, polymorphous light dermatosis, photosensitivity, radiation or chemotherapy, hemophilia.

This service should not be done if the user or the treated person is taking photosensitizing medication such as neuroleptics, systemic dermatitis and anti-epileptics.

• Recent Eye Surgery
• Allergy to product
• Very sensitive eyes
• Conjunctivitis
• Stye
• Dry Eye Syndrome
• Using prescribed medicated eye drops
• Medication – Thyroxin (in some cases can prevent lashes from curling)
• Contact Lenses – must be removed

POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Keep your lashes dry and free of makeup
• Do not use mascara
• Do not irritate or rub your eyes while you have Lash Extensions
• Wash them daily (we will recommend a special lash shampoo to use)

This will also be gone over extensively before you leave our spa.
